Everyday you walk through our doors you will be coached through a very efficient and effective workout. We will teach you proper technique in Olympic lifting, weightlifting, kettlebell exercises, and basic gymnastics movements, among many other skills.
All classes consist of a guided warm-up/movement preparation phase, skill and/or strength development, workout of the day (aka WOD), and warm-down/stretch. Each class can last anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour.
We program a CrossFit Fresno WOD for classes Monday through Saturday with Sunday always being a rest day. At the very least, you should commit to coming in for a WOD for 3 days spread out across the week. For those looking to make the most of their time in our facility, we recommend 3 days on/1 day off/2 days on/1 day off following the WOD programming. This would mean do the WOD Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, rest Thursday, and do the WOD Friday and Saturday. Some of you might find it more convenient to follow 5 days on/2 days off, doing the WOD Monday through Friday and taking the weekend off. Our 6 day programming allows for flexibility in your schedules so you can come in on the days that suit you best, again always keeping in mind that at the very least you should come in 3 days a week.
You can sign up for any of the regular classes on the current schedule. We also offer private one-on-one training and private small group training by appointment.
Please try to arrive early to make sure you are settled in and ready to go on time as classes will start promptly at the designated times. Besides, if you’re late, the penalty is 5 burpees per minute. You may want to bring a bottle of water or other refreshing beverage, a towel if you tend to do more than “glisten,” a willingness to learn, and you absolutely want to bring a positive, hard-working attitude!
Please note that our facility is open during designated class times and by appointment only. We are closed all day Sunday. We will provide advance notice of any other closures due to holidays or professional events.
As our community grows and demand increases, additional class times will be added. Feel free to email us with your preferences so that we may take them into consideration.
Before participating in regular classes at CrossFit Fresno, ALL of our prospective athletes must successfully complete our CrossFit Fresno Foundations Program. Why? Because you can’t build a tall building without a strong foundation. This program gives you the absolute best opportunity for success in CrossFit.
The CrossFit Fresno Foundations Program is broken down into four super easy-to-grasp classes by private appointment. Not only is the program designed to give you a greater understanding of what CrossFit is about, it is formatted to educate you in our vocabulary as well as our coaching cues, teach you the 9 foundational movements of CrossFit (i.e., the air squat, front squat, overhead squat, press, push press, push jerk, deadlift, sumo deadlift high pull, and medicine ball clean) plus other complementary exercises, and introduce you to a variety of challenging and fun WODs!

We aren’t like those big box gyms that pressure you into buying a long-term membership and then care less if you ever step foot in their facility. We want and expect you to be here. And we never use intimidating sales tactics to coerce you into making a commitment; either you like what you see and jump on board, or you don’t and you go back to doing whatever it was you were doing.
